The PSL Season 10 playoffs are about to take place as the final four teams qualifying for them have been determined by the exciting end of league stage games. Islamabad United guaranteed their position after winning impressively against Karachi Kings, who were eliminated, at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Monday. Regarding the lineup and schedule of the playoffs, Quetta Gladiators have finished first on the table with 15 points. They will take on Islamabad United in Qualifier 1 at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on 21 May. Because Quetta and Islamabad are at the top, they can compete for the final twice. Even if they lose Qualifier 1, the team must win Qualifier 2 against the Eliminator winner on 23 May.
A dramatic match is expected when Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings meet in the Eliminator clash on 22 May. The final game of PSL 10 will be played on 25 May. IPS Shield Schedule: 21 May brings us a matchup between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United. Eliminator: Lahore Qalandars vs Karachi Kings is taking place on 22 May. The second match-up will be between the person who won the Eliminator and the number one loser from the Qualifiers – it will take place on 23 May. Finally, the vote will happen on 25 May.
The Revival of Islamabad United. In the last league stage game, Islamabad United triumphed over Karachi Kings by 79 runs. United scored 251/5 in their innings, with Alex Hales (88 in 35 deliveries) and Sahibzada Farhan (73 in 41 deliveries) hitting most of the runs. United was too strong for Karachi, as their bowlers failed to find answers. Consequently, the Karachi chase could not hold up against pressure, ending when they scored 172 in 18.2 overs. Shadab Khan’s four wickets, two from Salman Irshad and two from Imad Wasim made the difference. After the win, Islamabad and Karachi both had 12 points, but Islamabad finished in second place because its NRR was better.
