At first, the PCB had intended to relocate the rest of the fixtures in the United Arab Emirates following an Indian drone attack close to Rawalpindi Stadium that interrupted matters last week. However, after the intervention and guidance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the tournament was temporarily suspended for security reasons. Thankfully, after a situation analysis, the PCB has taken the decision to resume the matches in Pakistan, with Rawalpindi and Lahore being the only two cities where the matches will be played from now onwards.
