At first, the PCB had intended to relocate the rest of the fixtures in the United Arab Emirates following an Indian drone attack close to Rawalpindi Stadium that interrupted matters last week. However, after the intervention and guidance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the tournament was temporarily suspended for security reasons. Thankfully, after a situation analysis, the PCB has taken the decision to resume the matches in Pakistan, with Rawalpindi and Lahore being the only two cities where the matches will be played from now onwards.

Double-Headers and Playoff Details May 18

The doubleheader will be played at Rawalpindi, and the day’s first match will be at 3.30 PM. Multan Sultans will play against Quetta Gladiators. In contrast, the second game will be played at 8:00 PM, and Peshawar Zalmi will take on Lahore Qalandars. On 19 May, the last game of the league stages, played between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings, will also occur in Rawalpindi. Then, the place of action will move to Lahore for the playoffs stage: 21 May – Qualifier 1, Gaddafi Stadium, 22 May – Eliminator 1, Gaddafi Stadium, 23 May – Eliminator 2, Gaddafi Stadium, 25 May – Final, Gaddafi Stadium.

    Match Timings:

Afternoon matches: 3:00 PM (local time); Evening matches: 7:30 PM (local time). The PCB will send out ticketing details shortly.

    Standings & Playoff Race

The way it is, Quetta Gladiators top the points table with awe-inspiring run–six wins, two losses, and one no-result from nine matches, ensuring them a place in the play-off. The remaining part of the table is as below: Quetta Gladiators – 13 points Karachi Kings – 10 points Islamabad United – 9 points Lahore Qalandars – 8 points Peshawar Zalmi – 7 points Multan Sultans – Out (1 win out of 9 games)

    Revised PSL 10 Schedule
