KARACHI: The Karachi Kings officially launched the new team jersey for the long-awaited Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10. The jersey’s exuberant and daring design mixes tradition and the team’s refreshed identity.
The jersey, made of the franchise’s well-known blue and red, brims with modern design that reflects the team’s dynamic energy and the city it belongs to. The kit, designed by The Peace Club’s pioneering team, stylishly and efficiently combines fashion and sports performance, making the Kings a noticeable presence on and off the field.
David Warner, the newly appointed captain and the Australian superstar, was the first player to show up in the jersey, which the Karachi Kings then shared on their official social media channels. The caption that accompanied the picture was this: “Fresh, fabulous, and full of Karachi swag.”
PSL 10 Kicks Off April 11
The much-awaited sparks will be ignited in PSL 10, which will be held on April 11, 2025, with champions Islamabad United facing the challenge of two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Out of the 34 matches in the six-team tournament from April 11 to May 18, 2025, the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host 13, including the Eliminators and the finals. The National Stadium of Karachi will host the Eliminators and the grand final.
Karachi Kings will host Multan Sultans on Saturday, April 12, the opening day of the PSL 10, at their home ground, the National Stadium.
David Warner to Lead the Kings
At the beginning of the year, Karachi Kings signed ex-Aussie opener David Warner as captain, which caused quite a stir. The highly experienced player has previously captained teams in various renowned leagues and was the first to be picked by the Karachi team from the PSL 10 Players Draft at Lahore’s Hazoori Bagh on January 13th, 2025.
Warner’s batting and inspirational leadership are anticipated to power up the team and give them good odds of a strong title run in PSL 10. Having won the ODI World Cup and T20 World Cup, apart from his other successful achievements, is a great experience for him
