    The explosive open position of Abhishek Sharma took a significant upward shift within the latest ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings. His outstanding accomplishments in the T20I matches versus England team resulted in him becoming a headline attraction.

    In the last T20I match Sharma established new milestones as a left-handed batter when he scored 135 runs off 54 balls. The remarkable knock both led India to victory and became instrumental in breaking numerous standing records.

    The recent historic 135-run bat by Sharma earned him the standing as the highest scoring Indian male cricketer in T20 International cricket. The fans worldwide celebrated 13 consecutive sixes which he hit throughout his knockout.

    Sharma scored his T20I century in only 37 balls to earn the position of fastest Indian T20I hundred. He reached the upper rankings due to his remarkable 54-ball performance which surged him forward 38 places.

    Travis Head

    The recent performance of Sharma propelled him to achieve the second position on the ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings. The Australian batter Travis Head remains the only player ahead of Sharma in the ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings with 855 rating points.

    Tilak Verma

    The impressive performance of Shreyas Gopal caused his teammate Tilak Verma to move from third place down along with Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav staying at fifth position. The order of players in the Indian batting lineup demonstrates the high amount of competition taking place.

    Babar Azam

    The premier Pakistani cricket players moved down in their respective position rankings. During this rankings update both Babar Azam slid to seventh position and Mohammad Rizwan dropped to ninth position. This decline signifies their recent batting performance slip.

    Significant Changes In Bowling Ranking

    Changes in ICC Men’s T20I bowling rankings occurred extensively throughout this period. Varun Chakravarthy of India moved three positions forward to become one of the two bowling top-rate players.

    Akeal Hosein

    The West Indian cricketer Akeal Hosein successfully regained first place in the rankings through his reliable bowling performances. Indian bowler Ravi Bishnoi made major improvement by advancing from position eight to position six in the standings.

    Bishnoi surged in the rankings due to his exceptional five-wicket haul delivered against England during the recent T20I matches. His skillful batting has enhanced the quality of India’s spin bowling unit.

    Australia Dominates ICC Test Ranking

    Australia moved up in the ICC Test rankings after their excellent occurrence in cricket competition against Sri Lanka. The selection of Steve Smith as stand-in captain led to his position in the fifth-ranking.

    Usman Khawaja

    The rise of opening batsman Usman Khawaja resulted in six ranking positions which put him at 11th place. Australia secured victory because of his personal best score of 232 that he achieved during the match.

    Nathan Lyon

    The player rankings for Australian cricket bowlers experienced an upward movement. The veteran spinner Nathan Lyon achieved two position upgrades to place sixth whereas pacer Mitchell Starc moved up to the 12th spot.

    ICC rankings underwent significant transformation because of the recent performance changes. International cricket becomes more exciting because various teams compete intensely for leadership positions.
