In 2017 Rohit Sharma achieved 100 runs in his batting performance using 35 balls. During 2025 Abhishek Sharma achieved a historic T20 batting performance by scoring his first century in 37 balls. Abhishek’s century made it superior to any batting performance of Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma because his milestone broke existing records at unprecedented speed.

    Abhishek Sharma

Through his 54-ball performance, Abhishek Sharma obtained 135 runs and earned the title of India’s highest-scoring batter in a T20 match. The century arrived within 17 balls after his 50th delivery, which stunned spectators. His batting performance included a remarkable 13 sixes and 15 fours, which led the fans to create an incredible roar across the stadium.

His innings were accompanied by a standing ovation from tech leaders Narayana Murthy and Mukesh Ambani. At the same time, social media users shared countless memes connecting him to Abhishek Bachchan due to his batting performance.

    Fearless Batting

Through his 24th birthday, Abhishek became one of the young Indian cricketers who scored multiple T20 centuries. Abhishek’s innings earned praise from spectators who compared his fearless batting style to the aggressive records set by Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh. The Indian dressing room became excited after witnessing his upgraded Travis Head-like batting technique.

    Previous Best Innings

The 135 runs scored by Abhishek surpassed all Indian T20 international high scores and exceeded the previous best efforts of 123 by Ruturaj Gaikwad, 122 by Virat Kohli, and 121 by Rohit Sharma.

The Indian batting lineup reached 247 runs, during which Abhishek scored 130 runs more than the combined contributions from his other batting partners. His forceful batting style made it impossible for any other player to compete with his speed of scoring runs during the match.

    Historic Knock

Abhishek established new personal T20I records during his historic knock by becoming India’s second-fastest centurion and driving the most runs in the powerplay segment. The ongoing league season saw him rank ahead of all other players with the most runs scored during this period.

The player had previously established franchise cricket standards with SRH before he brought his success to international matches.

    T20 Super Star

The history of Indian cricket reveals that Virender Sehwag compiled the highest Test score while Rohit Sharma possesses the ODI record and Abhishek Sharma maintains the T20 title. He scored a historic batting achievement that remains one of the fastest such performances in international cricket records. His recent matches showcased continuous excellent play, which demonstrated that a brand-new T20 superstar emerged.

    Modern Cricket

Abhishek established his position as an unstoppable force by scoring 279 runs during the series with an impressive 55-average and 219-strike rate. The modern, aggressive format suits his game because he hit 24 fours alongside 22 sixes during his match.

In the same manner as Yuvraj Singh used to play, he attacks his opposition with unmatched fortitude,e particularly during English matches that have since become his unfortunate downfall

    New Era Of Indian Cricket

The new era of Indian cricket has seen Abhishek Sharma escalate the competition in the T20 team and put major pressure on team selectors. The presence of promising cricketers Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Rishabh Pant has escalated the difficulty level for the Indian T20 lineup selection. His exceptional play has secured his position as a vital piece for Indian T20 teammates during future tournament plans.

    Rising Star Of Indian Cricket

The cricketing world anticipates whether Abhishek Sharma will surpass the fifty-run record of 12-ball scored by his mentor, Yuvraj Singh. India’s current dominance of T20 cricket, along with its recent powerplay record-breaking, makes a powerplay score of 100 runs seem like a realistic possibility. The rising star of Indian cricket brings his name forward as Abhishek Sharma.
