Karachi Kings won again in PSL 10. They beat Quetta Gladiators by 56 runs at the National Bank Stadium. They moved up to third place in the points table.

King scored first. Warner and Seifert put on 50 runs in the opening powerplay. Warner got 31 runs off 20 balls. Seifert made 27 runs off 15 balls. James Vince held the innings together with 70 runs.
Nabi added 18 runs. Amir took two wickets in the last over. Kings finished with 175 runs for 7 wickets.

Quetta’s chase did not go well. Hamza got Finn Allen out in the first over. Hasan Ali dismissed Hassan Nawaz in the next over. Quetta kept losing wickets. Mendis made only 12 runs, and Khawaja fell to Hasan. Rossouw was out to Nabi. After 6 overs, Quetta was 37 for 5.

The big guns of Karachi Kings rolled over the Quetta Gladiators as they strangled them to the tune of only 119 runs in 20 overs. Abbas Afridi got 2 out in short order, 57-7 by 12 overs. Saud Shakeel briefly paired up with Mohammad Amir to add 43 runs, with Amir’s brisk 30 from 16 balls. But Amir was dismissed by Aamer Jamal, and Hasan Ali took care of trailing Abrar Ahmed for his third wicket.

Gladiators could only score 119-9 in their innings, with Saud Shakeel left not out on just 33 runs.

The bowlers of Kings shone, with Hasan Ali taking 3 for 27; Mohammad Nabi and Abbas Afridi picked up 2 each. This recruitment of bowling ensured a fluent victory.

After this win, Karachi Kings moved into 3rd place in the table, having secured a couple of wins. Quetta Gladiators flounder in 4th place after three games played so far.

Kings will now seek to build on this momentum moving forward, while Gladiators need to regroup quickly and urgently to remain in contention for the playoffs.
