Shaheen Afridi, Saud Shakeel, and Kamran Ghulam, were each fined for a potential ICC Code of Conduct violation. The event was reported during a tri-series in which South Africa and Pakistan were the active teams.

Shaheen Afridi suffered the heaviest fine, 25% of his match fee, compared to the other two players. Shakeel and Ghulam accounted for only 10% of the remaining. In addition to the payment of their fine, they both received one demerit point.

Afridi’s misdemeanour was purposefully blocking off the South African cricketer –Matthew Breetzke- who was on the opposing team. It mainly involved unwilling or unfit contact and a later oral dispute on the cricket field during the match.

Shakeel and Ghulam were having their recreational celebrations beside the Temba Bavuma when the bowler removed him and penalized him for it.
