On the opening day of the second Test in Multan, Pakistan finished their batting at 154 runs after Jomel Warrican and Gudakesh Motie delivered exceptional spin bowling.

    West Indies Bowling:

Evangel_handles led his colleagues by taking four wickets for 43 runs, while Motie backed him up by achieving three-wicket hauls. Kemar Roach joined forces with Jomel Warrican and Gudakesh Motie to dismiss Pakistan batters twice, giving West Indies a limited nine-run advantage prior to Pakistan’s innings conclusion.

Pakistan’s top scorer, Mohammad Rizwan, hit 49 runs off 79 balls before striking eight boundaries during the first day of the Multan Test match.

    Pakistan First Innings:

The Pakistani batting order started poorly, collapsing to 70-4 by the end of Tea. At stumps, Rizwan held the bat with 13 runs, while Saud Shakeel managed 14* as Pakistan looked to rebuild their innings. The West Indian pace attacks caused Pakistan’s opening batters to collapse before steadying the batting momentum.

The first wicket fell when Kemar Roach dismissed Mohammad Huraira for nine runs. Babar Azam then fell to Motie’s delivery as the batter returned to the pavilion for one run before captain Shan Masood became Roach’s victim for 15. Fielder Motie captured Kamran Ghulam after the batsman made it to 16 runs. Success was limited as Rizwan and Shakeel made their best effort, but Pakistan lost wickets in Steve intervals.

    Pakistan Bowling:

Throughout the earlier playing session, Pakistan eliminated West Indies batters, leaving them with 163 runs. Reigning star left-armer Noman Ali produced an outstanding six-wicket feat, including three consecutive dismissals during the game’s progress.

Pakistan’s Kashif Ali secured his first Test wicket by sending Mikyle Louis back to the pavilion after scoring four runs to begin the West Indian batting inning. Sajid Khan added intent to Pakistan’s innings in the following delivery by dismissing Jangoo during his debut match.

Repeated wickets from Noman Ali resulted in a West Indies collapse to 38-7 before Kavem Hodge fought back with a determined 21-run bat until Abrar Ahmed ended his inning. Having reached 54-8, it seemed sure that the West Indies’ innings would quickly end. Gudakesh Motie joined forces with Kemar Roach on the ninth wicket to produce a fighting 41-run partnership that added value to the team’s total.

    West Indies 1st Innings:

The West Indies batting rally intensified when Motie teamed up with Jomel Warrican to build a match-saving 68-run partnership for the closing wicket. Motie battled through 87 balls to make 55 runs along with Warrican, who reached his 36 not out in 40 deliveries. A six-wicket haul from Noman Ali terminated Motie’s batting resistance and his time at the crease. Sajid Khan took two wickets to accompany Motie’s six-wicket match, resulting in a tally of 6 for 41 runouts. Abrar Ahmed and Kashif Ali each secured one wicket during the day’s play.

The team trailing Pakistan was nine runs behind at the end of the day’s play, and they faced an arduous challenge to take control during the second day.
